From August 20, 2010 through August 22, 2010 officers from 25 county law enforcement agencies arrested 135 people for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (VC23152/23153).
DUI Checkpoints will be conducted throughout San Diego. All traffic and patrol officers regularly scheduled for work will focus their efforts at stopping and arresting DUI drivers during their shifts. The heightened focus on DUI stops will continue through September 6, 2010.
